My Field of Study

When I was 16, I got knee surgery. I had a torn ACL and meniscus, because of soccer. It was the worst time of my life. I had to work hard in physiotherapy to get back to where I was before this happened. I always knew I wanted to study in the field of science, but I never quite exactly. I love sports, I've played soccer my whole life, so I came to think that maybe a career that could include both, would be perfect for me. After going through my physio for a whole year, I thought that this field of study would be a great match for my interests. I love studying biology and the human body. There are so many interesting aspects to this job because you can help athletes get back to their sport, little kids that have a mental disorder or, even cancer patients that need help with their motion. Of course, I want to focus more on the sports therapy side of physiotherapy.
